  • I found the cause for some errors displayed at QAP startup. QAP includes some Control + ... hotkeys active only in the Settings window (for example, Ctrl + A to select all favorites).

When QAP is launched, the AHK runtime (the development tool used to develop QAP) checks if the hotkeys in the AHK script are available on the user's keyboard. If not, it gives an error. This is happening some of these hotkeys with a Russian keyboard.

There is a technique to "hide" these hotkeys from the AHK run time to avoid the startup error messages. This would not resolve the whole issue with Russian keyboard but this would reduce the annoyance for Russian users. I put it on my to-do list.
